Product Description

50ml 15-Millimeter Neck Perfume Bottle — Glass Packaging for Fragrance Brands

The 50ml 15-Millimeter Neck Perfume Bottle is a widely-used type of fragrance packaging. It holds 1.7 oz of liquid, which is under TSA and international aircraft carry-on liquid limits, and balances perceived value with retail pricing. Xuzhou Muzhishi Crafts Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing glass packaging since 2005, running 10 glass furnaces each with six automated forming lines. The 15mm FEA crimp neck provides an airtight, hermetic closure that prevents evaporation and leakage in the supply chain.

Who We Serve?

This bottle is for B2B buyers looking for reliable, customisable glass packaging at scale.

The 50ml size has the advantage for fragrance companies and niche perfumers of a cheaper starting price point for the customer, yet still in a premium giftable format. The 15mm crimped neck fits the tamper-evident seal that fine fragrance companies require.

Many private label cosmetic firms operate filling lines at 60 or more units per minute. Our glass dimensional specifications are designed to work consistently on automated equipment without line jams or breakage.

The 50ml size conforms to most carry-on regulations in aviation, hence the appeal for duty-free and travel retail buyers. The bottle & pump combo is designed to tolerate drops in barometric pressure in cargo holds.

Seasonal and promotional product purchasers use this container as a platform for total-body coating, sleeve shrinkage and screen-printing for limited-edition launches.

Quality Control

All 50ml 15-Millimeter Neck Perfume Bottles are subjected to a 4 step quality control process prior to leaving our factory.

Vertical Load Testing. Every bottle is checked to ensure it can resist up to 150kg pressure during the automated capping process without breaking, so that wall thickness and structural integrity are up to the demands of the manufacturing line.

Vacuum Leak Test. The constructed bottle is held at -0.05MPa for 5 minutes to ensure that the 15mm crimp finish provides a hermetic seal, preventing perfume from evaporating or leaking during shipping.

Annealing Quality Evaluation. We utilise a polariscope to find internal stress areas in the glass. Each batch is checked for this, because unrelieved stress might lead the glass to break spontaneously.

Coating adhesion test (Cross cut method). External surface finishes are evaluated to 3M 600 tape. Poor adhesion is indicated by peeling or flaking, particularly in bathroom applications.

Decorated bottles are also subjected to a 24-hour immersion test: The bottle is immersed in bulk fragrance to ensure that silk screen ink and hot stamping do not melt, disintegrate or change colour when exposed to high-alcohol-content formulas.

Production Process

Step 1 — Design & Moulding Development

Tell us your design brief and we'll make a 3D model for you. For intricate forms or heavy-bottomed look, we make a special mould with a deeper bottom plate to control the rate of the glass cooling and prevent thermal shock cracks.

Step 2 — Making the Glass

We melt raw materials in one of our 10 glass furnaces, with a melting capacity of 150 tonnes per furnace. Six automated lines per furnace shape the molten glass into the required bottle shape.

Step 3 — Annealing

All created bottles are passed through an annealing lehr to reduce internal stress. A polariscope check shows that the levels of birefringence are within the limits.

Step 4 — Decoration and Surface Treatment

Bottles are frosted, hot stamped, engraved inside, screen printed or coated as per your order. The chemical resistance of each decorating method is evaluated before mass manufacturing starts.

Step 5 — Quality Inspection

Every batch is subjected to the above four-stage QC methodology. Critical faults such as sealing surface failures at the 15mm crimp rim are discovered and eliminated before packing.

Step 6 — Packing and Shipping

Bottles packed to your spec. We take care of the customs clearance, inspection and shipping papers such business invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.

FAQ

Q: What makes the 15mm FEA crimp neck suited for perfume compared to a screw-top finish?

A: The FEA 15 crimp seal cannot be loosened by vibration during shipping. It creates an airtight hermetic seal and provides tamper evidence, which is the accepted standard for fine fragrance packaging.

Q: Can you produce a bottle that looks heavier or more premium without changing the 50ml capacity?

A: Yes. You can request a weight increase within the mold capacity. For a heavy-bottom look, we develop a dedicated mold with a deeper bottom plate to control the cooling rate of the glass without causing cracks.

Q: What counts as a critical defect in glass bottle manufacturing?

A: A sealing surface failure at the crimp finish is critical. Even a hairline crack on the rim prevents the pump gasket from sealing properly, causing leakage or evaporation before the product reaches the end customer.

Q: How do you test whether bottle decoration is compatible with the fragrance inside?

A: We conduct a 24-hour immersion test. The decorated bottle is submerged in the bulk fragrance. If the ink or hot stamping softens, dissolves, or changes color, the decoration does not have sufficient chemical resistance for that formulation.

Q: What customization options are available?

A: You can customize the size, color, logo, surface finish (frosting, hot stamping, screen printing, inside engraving), and packaging box. Free samples are available with a lead time of 3–5 days. Custom samples take approximately 25 days.

Q: What are the MOQ and lead time for the product?

A: Contact us directly for MOQ details. Mass production ships in approximately 30 days after sample approval.
